We pray that you had a great summer and that the new school year is starting off successfully. Hannah started kindergarten recently and is really loving it. She is a chatter-box when she gets home about all the things she is learning and what happened that day with all the kids in the class. She is also taking violin lessons from her Grammy and is becoming a very fine violinist.
The boys are doing good. Jonathan just celebrated his 2nd birthday. It is amazing to think that just two years ago we were going through one of the greatest challenges of our lives. It is also exciting to know that soon the manifestation of his sight is coming. I can’t wait to send out that e-mail and to share that testimony.
We spent the month of July traveling throughout the East Coast ministering in churches. It was a great blessing to visit many of the people who are a part of this team.It was also a blessing to see the revival breaking out in the American church. As we have been traveling, we have seen a move towards a holy reverence for the time we have left. The Bible tells us, “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Eph 5:15-17 NASU We are in a valley of decision as a body. Are we going to just live our lives as the people did in the days of Noah or are we going to run our race with everything we have to save as many as possible. The best thing we could do with our time here on earth is the will of our Father who desires that none perish but that all come to a saving knowledge of Him through His son.
We also had a very successful trip to Washington DC for THE CALL. The CORE youth ministry went as a group of 30 people to pray and fast for our nation on the mall between Capitol Hill and the Washington Monument. We were believing for the youth to have a life changing experience with God and they did.
The youth raised$10,000 dollars in 3 weeks doing garage sales, going door to door, and selling refreshments. The really cool thing was that they also led over 30 people to the Lord during the fund-raisers.
One amazing testimony was during our second garage sale. A lady was asking about something for sale but nobody could understand her. It turned out that she was deaf. The pastor called me over to pray for her. We laid hands on her and came against the deaf and dumb spirit. The lady started shaking her head and opening and closing her mouth. She was totally healed. It also turned out that she was 60 years old and had been born deaf. We led her in a prayer and as she was repeating after us, her speech completely cleared up.
The trip to The Call was just as good and God was able to bring unity and revival amongst our youth. One really impacting experience was praying at the steps of the Supreme Court with other believers asking God to forgive our sins and the sins of our nation, to stop abortion, and to send revival to our land. The Call was a day of worship, prayer, crying, and laughing. We live in a great country and there is hope for truth (God’s Word) and justice (not increasing ourselves at another’s expense) to prevail.
When we arrived home, we started seeing our youth group explode. Two weeks ago, one of our youth led ten young people to the Lord in his apartment complex and water baptized them in the pool. He is now acting as a site leader in that area and more youth are starting to do the same thing in their areas. It is so exciting to see this revival generation step into their place God has for them.
Right now we have some exciting things going on.
We had a partners dinner where we announced the kick-off of our efforts to raise money for the construction of a new building for Hannah Jyoti Children’s Home in Andhra Pradesh, India. The children have spent years now living in a small one-room church building with a one-room addition on the side. We are now cooperating with other ministries to build a 6,720 sq/ft three-story building designed to house 100 children. It is made up of a floor for the boys dormitory, a floor for the girls, and a ground floor for a kitchen and dining/study room. This project has been in the works for a couple years but recently the church in India had a breakthrough. They raised $63,000 from Indian sources to buy land. Since they have shown such great faith and commitment, it seems right to honor that by helping them with the construction. The construction cost is $82,000. If you open the attached file, it is a flyer for this project.
Julie and I are also planning a ministry trip to Nigeria in the area of Ikom in October. We will be taking Jonathan and Joshua while Hannah and David stay with their Grandparents. We will be doing open-air evangelistic meetings, be conducting pastors training and a women’s conference, doing street-ministry, going into prisons, and meeting with government officials. Right now it is being advertised on television and they are expecting a minimum of 10,000 people a night.
We have been fasting and praying for great miracles, including one for Jonathan. We ask that you join your faith with us for a mighty impact and the reverence of the Lord to descend upon the church there. At present, we are raising $10,000 for this outreach and its expenses. We would appreciate your partnership to help in this harvest.
For the next two weeks, I am fasting and praying for our supporters, ministry and family. If you have any needs, please call me or e-mail me so that I can pray for them. We are praying and believing for a house. We have definitely outgrown our two bedroom apartment and we are in need of a stable place to base out of as we minister worldwide. Please stand with us for a quick answer as our lease ends after this month.

In closing,
We would like to thank you for your faithful partnership with this ministry. It is a great privilege to be teamed with you for the harvest. Please contact us with any needs you have. We are a body and the body works together and protects itself. We continually give thanks for you and praying God’s blessing, favor, and perfect will for your life.

I recently returned home from Myanmar (Burma). It was a successful trip.
I worked with our friend Suan Za to put together relief teams to help distribute aid to people affected by the recent cyclone in the country. As of the time I left the country, we had helped feed approximately 8,500 people and had clothed and housed hundreds.

Leading up to the trip, it seemed like everything was going wrong to stop me from leaving. First, the tickets I ordered from a travel agent in the UK got lost in the mail. I spent ten hours on the phone to the United Kingdom trying to sort things out. The agent who was working on my behalf with the consulate for Myanmar said that it would be impossible for me to get a visa to go. I prayed, applied, and got the visa. As we were driving to the airport for my flight, the tire that I had put on our van the week before blew out and literally shredded into pieces. By the time we got to the airport, it was supposed to be too late for them to check me in for the flight, but they checked me in anyways. There was so much opposition. If I had been walking by sight, there were many opportunities for me to say, “The door must be closed.” We decided to press on in faith through the opposition and were rewarded with a wonderful time of ministry.

When I arrived in Myanmar (Burma) I had thousands of dollars stashed all over my body. I prayed for the ministering angels to go before me and the Lord took me through immigration and customs with no problem. They just waved me on through. I met my friend Suan Za and when we arrived at the hotel, I found out that the government was not allowing foreigners to distribute relief. I had Suan Za dye my hair black and I prepared to go under cover.
The next day we met with other relief teams who told us that teams that had gone in had been turned back and at a later date, the Burmese people who were on the team had been arrested and questioned for being seen with foreigners. No one was willing to be seen going in with a foreigner because of the risks involved. We were able to mobilize a team to go in with Suan Za since he is originally from Myanmar. They traveled to the coastal areas that were affected. I helped mobilize teams to work in the refugee camps and areas around the capitol. These places were still off-limits to foreigners but the check points were not as strictly guarded and they were all within a day’s travel.
As I traveled around, it was obvious I was under surveillance. One man wrote down the license plate numbers of all the taxis I took and where I went. They also kept track of everyone I was seen with. As we would travel through checkpoints, I would just look down and keep from making eye contact. They always let us through.
The Lord brought together two strong teams for me to work with through local churches in the capitol. I had an open door to do a one day youth conference. In it I spoke about the call God has on His end-time generation and I commissioned them to go out in boldness, power, and consecration. I could see hope being ignited in the young people’s hearts as they realized that God is bigger than any circumstance or situation. God had given their country to them as an inheritance and had given them the spiritual authority to see it come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Out of that ministry came an invitation to do a three day Holy Spirit and Faith conference. We talked about “The difference between weak and strong faith”, “How to be fruitful in faith”, “Developing intimacy with God”, “Releasing the anointing and spiritual gifts”, and “How to release the power of praying in the Spirit”. Many people said that their lives and spiritual walks were forever changed through what they learned in the conference.
From the conferences, the Lord raised up teams of youth to go out with me to do relief work. We bought over a ton of rice, hundreds of t-shirts and raincoats, and rolls of plastic sheeting for tents. We loaded them up in the back of trucks along with our teams and drove to where the relief was needed. In some places the trucks could not reach so we transported the items on bicycles. We then proceeded to take the items to families and tell them that Jesus loved them and to ask them if we could pray for them for anything. The people hugged us, thanked us, many saying that they never really knew what Christians were like. We did this again and again in village after village.
In some villages, we could not give the relief out openly because it was forbidden by the military rulers in those areas, so we distributed it from people’s homes and in two places we distributed it from Christian orphanages. I felt so fulfilled as I saw children and youth doing the work of the ministry with love, compassion, and boldness. They were encouraged and emboldened in their faith as they saw the impact they were having on people’s lives.
When we had finished distributing relief, we met nightly and I was able to teach on intercession and the believer’s authority. We came together in small groups and interceded in prayer, for Myanmar, for its leaders and their salvation, and for revival among its people. I know that the seeds for godly leaders, restoration, freedom, and the manifestation of God’s glory were planted in people’s hearts and in that land through our prayers of faith and unity.

* * * * * * *

As I was ministering alongside the young people of Yangon, Suan Za was traveling with a team of young people to the coastal areas affected by the cyclone. When the cyclone hit these areas it was accompanied by a storm surge of waves over twenty feet high that washed over twenty miles inland. Entire villages of people had been erased. Suan Za and the teams traveled past places where there were no survivors or buildings left.
They traveled by truck, through six military checkpoints to the coast where they rented boats, filled them with relief items, and traveled up-river to places where no relief had reached even after one month. Some of the villages were only accessible six hours a day during high tide. The rest of the time they were surrounded by mud flats. One man they talked with said he had been caught by the waves and kept treading water until he reached a coconut tree which he wrapped himself around. All night long cobras swam up to him and tried to crawl on him but he would just grab them and toss them away. When the water subsided, he was in the top of the tree and had been washed seven miles inland. There was story after story of villages where out of hundreds of people, only one or two had survived. People were hurting and looking for hope. Praise God we were able to provide that hope at a time when their hearts were open. Even the Buddhist monks were welcoming and open.
As I traveled around Myanmar, I saw an anti-Christian and anti-west theme that was being pushed through the government propaganda, on the state-run television station, and in the state-run newspaper. All other sources of information and all other views were censored. Praise God that people were able to see the real Jesus of compassion and mercy. Most people we spoke with had no idea of who He is or that He even exists.

Thank you for your support and prayers that made this outreach possible. It had eternal implications. You had a hand in changing the destiny and direction of a nation. The work that was done was awesome and it is not finished. The teams that were mobilized are still continuing to bring help to the hurting and hope to those surrounded by death and destruction. As you read this, a ministry center and home for children orphaned by this disaster is being established by members of this team. The work has just begun but will continue with your continued prayer and support.

As you read this, I should be on my way to Burma (Myanmar). Julie and I are really excited about what God is going to be doing there.

We have partnered with 5 other ministries to bring aid and relief to the people of the Irrawaddy Delta who were affected by Cyclone Nargis. At present, together we have been able to raise $17,500 to go towards rice, water purification, mosquito nets, and other items needed to provide help and relief. We plan to personally deliver aid to those people in need and also to establish a ministry center in the Delta region.

Julie and I have been praying and interceding for Burma for 4 years now and we rejoice that the time of the open door there has come.

Please agree with us in prayer that the dead be raised, blind eyes will see, arms grow out, sick be healed, all attacks of the enemy will not prosper against us, and most importantly of all God be glorified by the growth of His kingdom because of all the salvations.

Thank you for your prayer and support for our upcoming relief project. We praise God for the generous outpouring of love coming in for His kingdom.
Sometimes it is hard to believe but what the enemy meant for evil, God will use for good. Our prayer for years has been that God would open up the hearts of the Burmese people for revival and the time has come.
We are bringing hope in the form of aid but an even greater hope is coming with us, which is Jesus. 1 Tim 1:1 says that Jesus Christ is our hope. Buddhism’s first noble truth says, “life is suffering.” It says that our very existence is suffering but Jesus says that he endured suffering because of the joy set before him. The tragedy that recently happened in Myanmar (Burma) is not the end of the story. There is a joy set before us of a people delivered from spiritual slavery and a nation covered with the compassion, mercy, and glory of God. The Lord is going to show Himself mighty on their behalf.
Jesus said that the way we would serve him would be to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, care for the sick, and visit those in prison. Laid before us is an awesome opportunity to show the love of God to those who are hurting. It is the love of God that draws men unto repentance and we are His hands and feet to show His love to Myanmar (Burma).

You may have heard about the recent cyclone in Burma throughout the Irrawaddy Delta. Our hearts have been breaking upon hearing that upwards of 100,000 people may have been killed and 1.5 million people displaced. We think of all of our friends from Burma, the Burmese refugee children in Missionary Children’s Home, and the years of prayer and intercession the Lord has had us in for Burma as a nation. We feel that something must be done but the news is saying that aid and workers are having a difficult time getting into the country and that there is little chance of people in need getting was is sent.
We recently met with our friend Suan Za, who is from Burma and pastors a local Burmese church. He is leaving in the next couple weeks and is going to be working with contacts there to get relief to those affected by this disaster. Despite the difficulty of getting into the country and distributing aid, he assures us that he has the contacts and the avenues to do so. What he needs now is money.
We feel that we are supposed to help him raise this money.
If you feel as we do and wish there was something you could do; there is. We have an open door to bring life and the Good News to the Burmese people. There is no telling when this opportunity will come again.
Right now there is a great need for food, plastic sheeting, and water purification tablets. These things can be purchased and distributed in Burma. In the next few weeks the rainy “monsoon” season starts so the time is urgent.
We have two weeks to gather the provision for this outreach.
Please pray for Burma’s freedom from poverty, tyranny, and spiritual slavery. Also, please give today. Every prayer and every gift helps.

I recently returned from India. I traveled with one of our youth (Josiah) from “The CORE”, the youth group that Julie and I are pastoring. Along with Josiah, I also traveled with Don and Becky Cameron from Christ for India and Rev. Ron Thomason from Cornerstone Church in Jacksonville, FL. It was a great trip and the Lord showed Himself faithful.
The glory of the Lord started manifesting before we even got on the plane to leave. Josiah and I had to leave for the airport at 4:30am so we decided to just stay up all night so that we wouldn’t oversleep. We started worshipping God and I later put on a recording of a sermon of Lou Engle preaching. We could strongly feel the presence of God in our apartment. As the sermon started, Josiah started crying. I wasn’t sure what was going on but I knew it was God. Josiah saw Jesus’ face and His eyes were flames of fire. As he looked in Jesus’ eyes, he was completely undone. The Lord told him that he was jealous for this generation and that Josiah was to reach them. I had been praying that the Lord would use this trip to set the course of Josiah’s life and it was already being accomplished.
We flew out and met up with Pastor Thomason in Chicago and then proceeded to proceed to India.
We were able to visit a couple ministries throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh. Most of our time was spent with our work at Hannah Jyoti Children’s Home with Rehoboth ministries. HJCH is starting a building project to house 100 children. While we were there, we saw land that had been donated and we also received blueprints and estimates for the building. We are now waiting to receive the deed to the land. After that we will be sharing more information on the building project.
Before we left on this trip, we had our youth group pray for us and a Word of Knowledge came that we were going to pray for a child with a cleft palate and that she would be healed. While we were looking at the land, a lady came up to us with a baby who had a cleft lip and palate and by faith we know she is healed.
We also had the opportunity to visit two new pioneering pastors and to do an outdoor evangelistic meeting.
We praise the Lord for the eternal impact He had on the people of India and everyone involved.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support that have made this ministry possible and please pray for us, the nations, and believers around the world carrying out Christ’s Great Commission.
Right now, we are expecting the birth of our son, Joshua Adam, any day now and covet your prayers for a healthy and natural delivery,

Adam

We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year.

I recently arrived home from India and it was a very productive trip. I went to the state of Andhra Pradesh where I visited Hannah Jyoti Children’s Home, preached in outdoor evangelistic meetings, taught in 40-Day Pioneering School, and visited some of the pioneering pastors we have helped train. After that I went to Tamil Nadu where I worked with John Arul Ministries did film outreach and home evangelism, visited their various children’s homes, and preached in meetings. Lastly I went to Karnataka where I visited Missionary Children’s Home and Biblical Theological College and Seminary.

40 – Day Pioneering School
I was blessed to be able to teach in a 4-Day Pioneering School while I was traveling. I was encouraged to see them still going on and also to see them expanding to the point that new pastors were starting to do them in their areas. What started as a small God-given idea is spreading. The school I taught in has six students who are planning to start churches in unreached villages upon completion of their course. To give a brief summary, the 40 – Day Pioneering School is a short-term training course where men and women, who feel a call to ministry and are committed to starting a church in an unreached village, spend forty days in intense practical training and seeking God’s face.

Crusades & Meetings We conducted outdoor evangelistic meetings in some new villages in Andhra Pradesh where 40DPS graduates and other pastors have gone to start churches. We were able to preach the gospel and pray for the sick. Through the meetings we saw a wonderful response. Many women and children responded to the message of salvation.
The most difficult part of the meetings was to see how many of the pastors and their families were struggling. Many of them have left everything to evangelize in places that are unreached by the gospel and started out with nothing; no church, no congregation, and no money. I can relate to them feeling a consuming call and stepping out in faith to follow it. Julie and I did the same thing. But, even though we started out in the ministry with very little financial support, we started out with some.
It is our desire to start supporting more of these pastors for one year with $50/month. This will enable these pastors to start out their ministry with a bicycle, a small portable sound system for crusades, and enough money to meet their family’s most basic needs while they do the work of the ministry and plant new churches. We are believing for an extra $500/ month to come in this next year for this project. That means we can send out workers to ten new villages.
In addition to crusades in AP, I was also able to help with John Arul Ministries in the state of Tamil Nadu. One of the things we did was film outreach in villages. We took excerpts from “The Passion of the Christ” and showed them on an outdoor screen. After the film, I preached a short message about why Jesus died and what it accomplished and then gave an invitation to receive Jesus as Lord. We had 150-200 people show up at each outreach and 25-50 gave their lives to the Lord each time. Most of the new believers were children and as you can see from the picture at right, they were very enthusiastic about their new-found faith.
I also had the opportunity to speak in multiple schools and tutoring centers. The schools had a morning assembly where I shared with the children about God’s love, His great plan for their lives, and how to have relationship with Him. I was able to share the gospel with approximately 500 children.
On the Sunday I was with JAMinistries, I had the opportunity to preach seven different services. The last service of the day was in a hospital where I preached on “Jesus, the Great Physician” and prayed for approximately 200 people to be healed.

Children’s Homes I visited three of the children’s Homes we are helping to support in India. The first was Hannah Jyoti Children’s Home in the state of Andhra Pradesh. As we have mentioned in previous updates, HJCH has been having some big attacks come against it. Last year a group of men tried to kidnap some of the girls from the home, probably to sell them to a brothel or as slaves. This is not an uncommon practice here in India and unfortunately is becoming more common throughout the world. Most of the girls had to be sent elsewhere because the current facilities the children are housed in are not secure. There is no compound wall to keep out intruders. We have been housing the children in a church for the last four years but it is time to build them a place of their own. We have a plot of land and are starting construction on it immediately. Any gifts to help with the construction are greatly needed and much appreciated.
I also visited children’s homes with John Arul Ministries. They are caring for approximately 1000 orphaned and semi-orphaned children. I really appreciate the excellence with which they run their ministry and children’s homes.
Lastly I visited Missionary Children’s Home in the state of Karnataka. It is being run by our friend Angam Haokip and is made up of refugee children from Burma and NE India. They recently moved into a separate building which is giving them lots of room.
As you may remember, Angam is the director of BTC&S who was beat up and left for dead by 35 Hindu radicals in September. They beat him with stones and then stomped on his head and chest fracturing two vertebrae, breaking ribs, and leaving him with severe lacerations. He is making a good recovery, even though he is still in pain, and is doing the work of the ministry. He still has to be careful since the people who attacked him live in the neighborhood surrounding him and have continued to threaten his life and ministry.
Another ministry we are supporting but I was not able to visit was Holy Faith Children’s Home. This home is run by our good friend Pradeep who is also involved with church planting near China.
It was a wonderful trip. God opened many doors and confirmed the Word through signs and wonders.

Thank you for your prayers and support and may God richly bless you and keep you.

Adam

Meeting in Oslo
Mbithi's school in Kibara slums, Nairobi
To continue the last update, after visiting Masailand, we traveled to Nairobi and visited the work of Paul and Grace Mbithti. They have one of the best-run works I have visited. They are working in Kibera slums, one of the largest slums in Africa. They do vocational training and provide primary schooling for children who would have no option of receiving an education. You have been helping to support them through this ministry for some time and it has proven to be good ground. It is a pleasure to be partnered with them.
After visiting Kenya, one of my fellow ministers, Aaron Jones, and I flew to Oslo, Norway for a series of revival meetings. We were able to meet up with another member of our team, Milo Hellenes, who is from Oslo. The meetings seemed to be specifically aimed at preparing the church (the bride) for the return of Jesus (the bridegroom). The Lord commissioned many who were called to ministry to go out and fulfill their calls. There were strong prophetic words that pointed top the need for every believer to fulfill the ministry they were placed on earth for.
This trip was one of the few times I have traveled overseas with a team and I can see it becoming a trend. The five men on our team; Aaron Jones, Rick VanDeventer, Ian Sebbanja, Milo Hellenes, and myself; seemed to all bring somethings together that separately were powerful but in unity were even more mighty. The Lord used us together, many times to preach one message but in many parts. We would not discuss what we were going to speak about beforehand but time after time, all of our messages would flow together to bring one full, powerful word. It was a blessing and a privilege to be able to minister with them and I look forward to doing it again in the future.
We also have some awesome news. Julie is pregnant with a baby boy due March 23rd. We are very excited and rejoice in God’s blessing.
Please pray for me as I plan to travel to India Nov. 24th – Dec. 22nd. I will be traveling with one of the young men from the youth group at Jubilee Christian Center and we will be visiting Hannah Jyoti Children’s Home along with other children’s homes, Bible training centers, and outreaches.

I recently returned from Kenya and Norway and it was one of the best trips I’ve ever gone on. I was part of a team of five ministers in Kenya. We spent most of our time in Isinya, an hour and a half outside of Nairobi. We worked along with a pastor by the name of David Sirma and preached in his church for a week. The messages brought forth by all the ministers were interwoven into one theme, “The church needs to prepare herself because revival is coming.” We were blessed to have the cooperation of many different pastors from many different churches in the area. The Lord used me prophetically to bring healing in marriages and families. Many of the pastors and their wives were run down spiritually from doing the work of the gospel in poverty and toilsome circumstances. The Lord, in His mercy, brought refreshing and relief. Many of the pastors were living in dirt floor shacks; others were living in holes in the ground. A lot of them had no form of transportation and were having to cover miles and miles of territory on foot. The Lord provided for us to give bicycles to some who were in greatest need and to help two pastors to get improved housing.
Much of the work we did was in small villages in Masailand. In one of the meetings in a village named Emarti, a lady came in the back of the church and was in total shock. She had a vision of a white man two months before and the Lord had told her to pray for him, so she had been praying for him daily during that entire time. Her shock came because when she walked into the church, she saw me, the man in her vision. God is so good to take a lady from a village of probably 50 people in the middle of nowhere to pray for me. It touched my heart to know that there are people praying for us worldwide.
Towards the end of our time there, we conducted an anointing service for the people who had come to the meetings. God did many amazing things ranging from healing, to deliverance, to signs and wonders. We also had a foot-washing service where we washed the feet of all the pastors who had come. As we washed some of their feet, we saw heavy burdens lift and the Lord gave us words of knowledge and wisdom.
Thank you for helping to make this trip possible. Seeds of revival were planted in the Masai people and lives were changed. Please continue praying for Kenya and Africa for revival, freedom, and God’s glory.
In the next e-mail, I will continue with this update by sharing about the rest of our Kenya trip and the things the Lord did during our Norway leg of the trip.

In HIS service,

Adam

I am leaving for Kenya and Norway Sunday and desire your prayers. I am traveling with two other men and we will be evangelizing and training leadership. We are believing for miracles.
I will be traveling for two weeks.
Please keep Julie and the kids in prayer as they keep the home fires burning.
We are also planning a trip to India and possibly Burma in November and September. We will be going into some unreached closed areas to evangelize where foreigners are not allowed but we believe that the seeds of revival will be planted.
Please keep the Indian church in prayer. They have been facing persecution, even in areas that are usually safe for Christians. Here are excerpts from some recent e-mails we have received.

On August 19, members from the Hindu radical group, Hindu Ikyavedi, attacked a congregation gathered for prayers and vandalized their church building in Bangalore, India. According to The Voice of the Martyrs’ contacts in India, prior to the attack, Pastor Koshy Thomas and his family were threatened and told to stop conducting worship services. VOM contacts report, “On August 18, two members of the Hindu radical organization, Hindu Ikyavedi, threatened to burn Pastor Thomas and his family to death if they did not vacate their home and stop worship services. The next day they barged into a prayer meeting, abused the believers using filthy language and assaulted the pastor’s wife and another believer. They snatched a Bible from another man’s hand and threw it out of the building.” After the believers were evicted from the church, the attackers vandalized the building. VOM contacts added, “The radicals vandalized the church building by drawing Hindu symbols, the trishul, swastika, Sanskritic Om and slogans such as ‘Jai Shri Ram and Hindu Dharma is ours, who is Yesu?.’ They also conducted a Hindu religious rite inside the church and locked it.” Pastor Thomas has been pastoring the 50 member Indian Pentecostal Church for about a year. Pray God protects and provides for the pastor and believers in this area. Ask God to use the testimonies of Christians in India to draw non-believers into fellowship with Him.

The other e-mail I got concerned our friend Pastor Angam. He is the director of a seminary we have been teaching in the last couple years and he also started Missionary Children’s Home, a home for refugee children who have fled religious persecution in Burma that you have been helping to support. As you will read, he was beaten and left for dead by Hindu radicals.

Pastor Angam, BTCS Bangalore India, Please pray for Him and His life, Last Monday morning at 8.45 Am when he came toward the Bible College and orphanage Home on the way He was attacked by RSS (Antichristian) groups around 30-35 people attacked him and he was very badly wounded and his Vehicle was damaged and they left him as dead, but by the grace of God he was taken home with little breath in his life and quickly he was taken to Bangalore Baptist Hospital, and he has survived please pray for him and the healing as well as the needs.

The church around the world is facing persecution and we are one body, we should feel their pain. We are blessed in the West to live in peace and security. It can be tempting to fall into the trap of thinking America is the church. The church is made up of all believers and most of them are outside of this country. In the book of Habakkuk, it says “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” It is a prophecy for our day and time and it is here. If you look in that chapter, it also talks about the spiritual atmosphere that will prevail when this comes to pass. Hab 2:9 “Woe to him who gets evil gain for
